A tube designed for medical gas pipeline systems
EN 13348 applies to seamless round copper tubes from Ø 6 to Ø 133 mm outside diameter for medical gas and vacuum pipelines, at working pressures up to 2,000 kPa. In particular, it requires very strict internal cleanliness, with no carbon residues.
Our medical tubes are made from Cu-DHP, with a bright inner surface and marking along their entire length. They are supplied in hard drawn (R290) straight lengths of 4 or 5 m and in annealed (R220) coils of 35 and 50 m.

Medical tube complies with EN 13348, which is more demanding on internal cleanliness: it must be free from carbon residues so as not to contaminate medical gases. Plumbing tube falls under EN 1057.
